Beef
100% Grass Fed
Our beeves (plural for beef) have never tasted grain or been given hormones or antibiotics - they are one hundred percent grass-fed! What they do get is plenty of pasture in the growing season and hay in the winter season. We harvest them yearly, in the late summer once they have matured. Once they are taken directly off pasture they are immediately processed. This insures the highest levels of valued Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) will remain in the meat.

Finished by Fall
These beeves have been genetically selected to grow on pasture, and to grow fast enough to be “finished” by fall. Therefore they can be harvested directly off pasture. In this way they will be the most tender (from not having to go through another winter on hay which not only stiffens the meat but also reduces CLA levels).
High in CLA
The pastures upon which these cattle graze have been seeded with plants that will produce the highest level of CLA, as well as the best growth potential for “finishing” (i.e. fattening) the cattle. This is important because the CLA and other health benefits are in the fat of the meat. So even though these cattle may be leaner than most corn-fed beef, we strive to have the proper amount of fat on them by keeping our processing time to the late summer.
